  • We typically (though not necessarily) would have an initial FREE 15-min consult to assess for “goodness of fit” followed by a 55-minute intake appointment where we examine your reasons for seeking therapy, the context surrounding those reasons, and then collaboratively determine (values-based behavioral) therapeutic goals while beginning to introduce skill-building interventions.
In couples therapy, we start off by creating an InterACT Matrix to better understand the difficulties you face, the opportunities for more fulfillment, and the patterns of interaction that influence each of these pathways.

  • Following an initial FREE 15-min consult (if desired), you would receive a consultation agreement, a brief questionnaire, and one or more self-assessment measures of ACT knowledge/competency to guide our work together. From this information and our initial interaction, we would establish consultation objectives and discuss the possible methods of working towards these goals.

  • Please reach out via email and we can discuss your training objectives, timeline, my availability, virtual vs in-person options, duration, topics, fees, etc.

  • I believe that you’ll find me to be kind, compassionate, yet willing to confront problematic patterns - to support and challenge you at the same time. I see myself as collaborative, interactive, attentive, and responsive. I also genuinely find providing therapy, consultation, and training to be very enriching and fulfilling. And I too welcome being challenged.

  • I provide feedback-informed care, consultation, and training. That is, I openly welcome and make use of client-centered feedback to shape my behaviors in the service of optimizing treatment and training experiences. I view the relationship and our common humanity as core features of the work in all three contexts. And, I aim to practice what I preach, showing up as fully and as openly as I can while engaging my values.
